Spray Foam extinguishers are suitable for both Class A & B fires. Spray Foam has the ability to reduce the risk of reignition. Once the fire has been extinguished the foam effectively seals the vapours at the same time as cooling the fire.

Features

  • BS EN 3 Kitemark ensures continuous product excellence.
  • High-grade brass head assembly ensures reliability and optimises efficiency.
  • Coated steel levers built to withstand the hardest knocks.
  • 15 bar working pressure for maximum fire fighting performance gives greater application reach ensuring user safety. (Stored pressure models)
  • Long drawn high grade steel body shell for optimum strength*
  • Polyester external coating adds extra protection to withstand extreme temperatures, dirty environments and UV degradation.
  • Polyethylene internal lining safeguards against corrosion*
  • Precision built mechanical pressure gauge provides a very accurate indication of extinguishers' pressure status.
  • High quality application hose with plated brass ferrules*.
  • 5 year product guarantee.
    * Excludes EF2
  • Spray Foam extinguishers combine the smothering effect of AFFF and the cooling and penetrating effect of water.
  • Spray nozzle gives wider coverage to maximise fire fighting performance.
  • Spray Foam extinguishers give added operator safety if accidentally used on electrical risks as they have passed the 35kv conductivity of discharge test.
  • AFFF Spray Foam helps prevent re-ignition.
  • 15 bar working pressure gives greater application reach to help ensure user safety. (Stored pressure models)
  • Non-damaging plastic skirt.*
  • Colour coded area to establish at-a-glance contents recognition.
  • Unique tamper evident safety pin with OK indicator to reduce accidental discharge.
    *Excludes EF2

Spray Foam extinguishers provide a fast, powerful means of tackling 'A' and 'B' class fires. Highly effective against petrol and volatile liquids, forming a flame smothering seal over the surface and preventing re-ignition. Ideal for multi-risk usage. Fire ratings provide a means of measuring the effectiveness of an extinguisher in terms of the maximum size of fire that can be extinguished. Class A rating is related to a wooden crib fire 0.5m wide x 0.56m high x length. The rating figure is ten times the length in metres, eg. 13A uses a crib 1.3 metres long. Class B is related to fire surface area and the rating figure to the quantity of flammable liquid in a ratio of 1/3 water, 2/3 fuel that can be extinguished in a circular tray.
