Chubb Wins British Car Auctions Contract
Chubb has won a two-year contract to service around 900 fire extinguishers at British Car Auctions centres throughout the UK.
British Car Auctions, which has over 50 years experience in the auction market, employs 1,500 staff at 23 centres in the UK. Every year, the company handles more than 1 million vehicles of all kinds including fleet cars, prestige and luxury models, classic & historic vehicles, vans, trucks and even agricultural equipment. Some of BCA's larger auction centres such as Blackbushe in the south, Measham in the midlands or Belle Vue, Manchester in the north will offer more than a 1,000 vehicles for sale in a day.
As well as servicing and when necessary replacing a full range of water, foam, powder and CO2 extinguishers plus hose reels, Chubb will be conducting full site surveys, fire risk assessment and installing fire and safety signs in partnership with BCA's Health & Safety team throughout the company's nationwide network.
