Extinguishing Fires at Work Video

A new fire extinguisher training video - includes training using the Fry Fighter on a fire in a deep fat fryer.

In association with the Fire Protection Association, Chubb has produced a new fire extinguisher training video. Its duration is 21 minutes and covers in a very practical manner the different types of extinguishers and their uses.

At the start of the programme it draws upon the experiences of two employees who have had the misfortune of a fire in their respective workplaces.
The key point being that although there were sufficient extinguishers, neither of them knew how to use the equipment.

The programme then takes the two characters through a training session which is supervised by a Chubb Fire customer training officer.

All the main types of extinguisher are covered and bringing the programme right up to date is the inclusion of a section on how to use the wet chemical extinguisher on a deep fat fire (Class F).
