PIN Only Access Control
The attractively styled slim keypad is available in either brass, ruggerdised
stainless steel or black finish, and is suitable for use on both external and internal
applications. As an alternative to door furniture a 'request to exit' push button
usually located within the secure area is available in a matching finish.
A single 4 to 8 digit PIN, or up to 50 separate PIN's, allow access to the secure
area, typically personnel, wages and computer rooms or main reception doors. A
6 digit master PIN enables the holder to change the users PIN whenever required.
Additional security can be provided by remote alarm facilities such as a duress
PIN that can be used by an authorised person being forced to allow access to an
intruder.
The keypad has a built-in bell push which can operate a door bell. The system
can be configured with either an entry keypad only, an entry keypad and 'request
to exit' push button within the secure area, or a keypad on both sides for full two
way access control.
